COACHES - Summer 2020

EGLAX encourages all parents to consider a coaching opportunity.    Many of our coaches had no prior coaching experience.    Through our training and US Lacrosse education programs we are able to get new coaches ramped up very quickly.   In most cases you will be coaching along side someone who has coached before.

NOTE:  During EG Coach registration, the site will transfer you to the US Lacrosse site for which you must become a member.  The fee is $55.  You will have to pay the US Lax fee at the time of registering.  EGLA will process a $55 refund to all registered coaches.  Your US Lacrosse coach membership is conditional based on successful completion of a USL National Background Screening within ten days. The background check is free of charge.  The National Center for Safety Initatives (NCSI) performs the background checks.  NCSI is the industry leader in comprehensive background checks, working with the United States Olympic Committee and more than 50 national governing bodies.

You will need to have the following on hand:
Government issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, etc.)
List of addresses lived over the past 5 years
Social security number
You will need your USL membership number as part of this process.
